About Larry Marks

Larry A. Marks is Chief Operating Officer and Senior Executive Vice President of Republic Bank of Chicago. With almost 40 years of banking, training and consulting experience in financial services, marketing management, strategic and tactical planning, and product development, Mr. Marks is considered one of the leading experts in the country on cash management, consultative selling and fraud.

As part of his consulting and training work he maintained faculty positions in the executive education departments at the Kenan-Flagler Business School at the University of North Carolina and the Haas School of Business at the University of California at Berkeley. He was also on the faculty of the Graduate School of Banking at the University of Wisconsin.

As a well known author, he has been published in many articles on cash management, fraud, marketing, consultative selling, sales management and treasury issues. He has his BSBA and MBA from the Walter E. Heller School of Business at Roosevelt University in Chicago.
